COVID 19: Hamlets Training Centre’s plan to combat coronavirus  and encourage social distancing while learning continues

How Does Distance Learning work ?

Hamlets Training Centre has introduced Distance learning in addition to its regular  classroom training,  which is a way of learning remotely without being in regular face-to-face contact with a teacher in the classroom. In the UK, this online virtual learning system has already become popular to many students either doing a short training course such as A1 or B1 SELT English   course for immigration, Food Safety training for Hospitality and Catering or taking a degree from a university.

Distance learning works by using PCs, tablets, phones and the internet so that you can study from remote places such as your home or office, rather than attending a in our Training Centre. It is a not only a precautionary step to encourage social distancing but also, it’s a flexible solution to learn around your work, travelling and family commitments.

How will you receive your distance learning education from us?

Our Distance learning  course are delivered in a paced format like our traditional classroom-based training in which learners commence and complete a course at the same time. We have been using ZOOM platform to teach our students online which is currently one of the most common mode of distance education delivery.

Hamlets Zoom Class Sessions

As a registered subscriber of https://zoom.us/ we allow our students to log in to a web classroom system at a pre-scheduled time which is an interactive way to create engagement and teach our students in this fully online course. To log in to the class is easy, straight forward and students friendly.

What is Zoom?

For those who weren’t familiar with Zoom prior to practicing social distancing, it’s a video- and audio- conferencing and screen-sharing tool that allows up to 1,000 participants to conference remotely at once.
