How to book the A2 Secure English Language course?
Following the announcement from the Government that face-to-face teaching can commence from 8th March 2021. Hamlets Training Centre is resuming classroom based training and continuing online based training.

A2 SELT – GESE Grade 3 – English Test for Visa Extension
You must pass a Secure English Language Test (SELT) in at least CEFR level A2 in Speaking and Listening for:
- Family partner (extension), required two and a half years after passing an A1 test
- Family parent (extension), required two and a half years after passing an A1 testUK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) requires non-EEA nationals to pass a Secure English Language Test (SELT) in speaking and listening at level A2 after two and a half years in the UK, in order to qualify for further leave to remain on the five-year partner or parent route to settlement.
