Government Confirms UK Passport Fees to Rise, Online Applications to Break £100 Threshold The UK government has announced a significant increase to passport application fees, with the cost of a standard online adult application rising above £100 for the first time. The changes, published by the Home Office and HM Passport Office, are set to take effect from 8 April 2026, subject to parliamentary approval.
