SERU INTRODUCTION

SERU stands for Safety, Equality and Regulatory Understanding. It is a requirement that applies to all existing PHV (private hire vehicle) licence holders and applicants. It is a requirement that came into force on 1st October 2021.

The learning programme and practice material provided by Hamlets Training Centre described below will help you to prepare for the TfL-approved SERU assessment. It contains the same material to be covered and follows the test format and layout of the real examination.
